21solutions owns and operates the add-on for Google Slides, PowerPack.

Information Collection and Use

Add-On

Here are major types of user information that the add-on deals with:

• Usage data
  • Examples: user’s general geography, time spent on tool, repeated usage; data on how often specific features are used
  • Access: This data is collected through Mixpanel, an external service. You can find their privacy information here.
  • Use: This data is used for usage analysis. It helps us to determine the features we should put our development focus on.
  • Storage: This data is all stored via Google Analytics, and not in any storage operated by 21solutions
• Log Messages
  • Examples: as the add-on’s code runs, it generates real-time log of the interactions between the add-on frontend and the Google App Script platform.
  • All of this data is anonymized
  • Access: These logs are generated wholly within the Apps Script platform while the add-on is used.
  • Use: These logs are used for debugging and error detection purposes
  • Storage: This data is all stored within the Apps Script and Google Cloud frameworks, and not in any storage operated by 21solutions
• Basic User Information
  • By installing and opening the add-on, we receive some basic user information, notably your e-mail-address and full name.
  • The basic user information is stored within the authentication service by Firebase. You can find their privacy information here.
  • The basic user information is shared with Mixpanel to connect it with actual usage data.

All this information is only collected when the add-on is used. If the add-on is not opened in a particular session, no data is collected for that session. If the add-on was never opened, no usage information nor user information will have been collected.

In no situation does PowerPack access, use or store specific content from a file, or any kind of identifier about which file the add-on is acting upon.

GSuite Marketplace Entry

• PowerPack is an add-on built using the Google Apps Script framework and published via the GSuite Marketplace. Thus, 21solutions is able to see any aggregated data reports that the platform provides, e.g. the aggregated number of installs of the add-on per day.
• Further, visits to the GSuite Marketplace add-on page are collected through Google Analytics. This data is fully anonymized.

PowerPack Website

The 21solutions website similarly uses Google Analytics for gathering anonymized data about visitors.
